The commercial and genetic areas were fertilized on April 20. The commercial area was planted on April 30. The genetic area was planted on May 2. |

The stand looks good. The genetic section got cultivated June 3. The commercial section is scheduled to be sprayed with glyphosate as soon as the wind stops blowing. Alleyways were cut in all areas June 3. |

Roundup has been sprayed twice on the commercial section and the hand weeding crew was successful in the genetic section. Good symptoms are beginning to appear in the genetic section. |

Symptoms are continuing to progress. The weed control is good but hand weeding will be conducted during the next 2 weeks in the genetic section. |
| July15 |
The second hand weeding was conducted on the genetic section. We are seeing foliar symptoms in the susceptible lines. |
