Cercospora nursery was planted |
| May21 |
Emergence was good and the beets are doing well. We received 1” of rain on 5/17 and another 1.2” on 5/20. |
| June17 |
It was wet and cooler at the end of May. We received rain every 3-4 days at the beginning of June. It’s been warm over the last few days, and the beets are growing well. They were thinned on 6/13 and 6/14. |

The nursery was inoculated. |
| July23 |
We rated the nursery and ratings were between 1 and 4 with one 5. |
| July31 |
We rated the nursery – ratings were 1-5 and most were around a 3. |
| August8 |
We rated the nursery. Ratings were 3-7 and many ratings had increased by two. If anyone wants to see the nursery, it would be best to see it this week. |
| August14 |
We rated the cercospora nursery. Ratings were between 4 and 8 and most were a 5 or 6. We are seeing some regrowth. |
| August20 |
We rated the cercospora nursery. Ratings were between 5 and 8 with most around a 6. There was a lot of regrowth and this will be our last rating. |
