Genetic Nursery of 30 accessions were planted. |

The Rhizomania nursery is still progressing. Weed pressure and some poor stand due to planter issues are leading us to assess how many accessions will be successfully evaluated. |
| September21-25 |
We harvested beets from the rhizomania nursery the week of September 21st-25th. Each beet was individually scored for foliar and root symptoms related to rhizomania. While some field conditions including nitrogen availability and weed pressure accentuated symptoms, we were able to observe significant differences among many diverse genotypes. |
